Awesome job on working on your online school work! There will be no more work posted for the remainder of the year. Reminder all the websites your scholar has worked on during the online learning will still be available during the summer so your scholar can continue to work on standards to prepare for 3rd grade.

Parents, Guardians, and Students please remember that you do not have to print these activities.  You have two options.  You may print or you can simply write your answers down on a separate piece of notebook paper , scrap paper , or composition notebook (journal)  and take a picture, using your cell phone.

How To Turn In Assignments:  You can attach your picture either in Class Dojo or your teachers email. 🙋🏽‍♀️

Starting Tuesday April 21 from 9:00-9:30 and every Tuesday after that until the end of the school year, your student’s teacher will deliver new standards to students through either Zoom, Microsoft teams or Class Dojo. Please read messages/emails from your scholar’s teacher for further instructions.

Listed below are ideas for students who do not have a computer, tablet, or other “normal device” can use to access schoolwork.

1. X-Box allows for the downloading of the Edge browser, which can be used to access the internet and Office 365.

2. PlayStation 4 allows for the downloading of the Safari, which can be used to access the internet and Office 365.

3. Roku, Firestick, Apple TV, Chromecast, or other such services used for TV viewing can also be used for accessing the internet.  Moreover, these systems have on board keyboards for typing.

Starting next Wednesday and until we return to school, the whole 2nd grade will be posting videos for our scholars to watch at home then small activities for them to complete during the week. WEEKLY WORK will be posted every FRIDAY for the following week. Your scholar has the next 7 days to complete the work for Reading, Writing, Math, and Content.

Some of the standards will be new and teachers are here to help with any questions you may have. If you need clarification on a video or activity, please email/class dojo your scholar’s teacher for help.

This blog will also be used to post school news and resources for you and your scholar. On the top, there are tabs you can click on that say “Weekly Work”, “News”, and “Resources”.

Please keep all the students school work together to return to teachers. Thank you!
